I live in Hampshire where I share my life with four Tibetan Terriers and a rescue working sheepdog. My fields of interest include training (offering mental stimulus training through obedience and trick-training), and breed showing.

I am an A-list breed Judge for the Tibetan Terrier. I get great pleasure in providing workshops in both Dog Training, Behaviour and Ringcraft and in writing and publishing books.

TV work

I have trained dogs for Television, including, Blue Peter, Animals Do the Funniest Things, S Club TV, BBC Crufts Series. I was a dog trainer for Series 1 & 2 of the Underdog Show (the winning trainer for Series 2). I was also invited to present my own dogs performing stunts, for the Children’s series of the Underdog show.

At the Kennel Club’s invitation, I made appearances at Crufts and Discover Dogs demonstrating and educating audiences for five consecutive years, with an open invitation to return to this at any time.

Bio-sensory puppy training

An emphasis on training each puppy in the litters was hugely important, beginning with bio-sensory puppy training. E ach pup received daily individual training from three-days old, the training continued until leaving for their new homes, finally receiving recall training to the whistle, setting them up for the best possible start in life.
